Jacky
Essombe is a “cultural
liaison” between the African and the Western worlds. A professional dancer,
dance teacher, speaker, storyteller, and TV and radio show host, she truly
believes that Westerners can benefit from her African heritage and the wisdom of
the ancestors to enhance their lives.
Cameroonian dancer and
entertainer Jacky Essombe invites
you to spend an evening under the palm tree with your family and your community
on Saturday, November
14th, like it is done in Africa,
sharing food, stories, music and
dance. This event is in the likeness of a true African village:
grandparents, parents, children and grandchildren spending time together,
in celebration. The Spirit of the
Village is a family event that
brings happy people together and
lifts the spirit of those who need it!
So please bring your children and your entire family to celebrate
together! You will be “wowed” with
traditional and acrobatic African dances and exciting music, you will
experience a conversation with a “Talking Drum”, and you will enjoy a delicious
home cooked African
meal.
