Duane  is a Registered Clinical Counsellor, workshop facilitator, teacher and a dynamic and entertaining public speaker. He has a lengthy background in mental health and social services, with 18 years in the field before forming Clearmind in 1990.

Duane discovered A Course in Miraclesin 1990 while mired in a deep depression triggered by a personal crisis in relationship, which nothing in his professional repertoire could adequately address. It opened him to a revolutionary way of thinking and being that allows him to tap into the joy available in the present rather than reproduce pain from the past. Duane transformed his pain into an inspired pathway to love; a path where he now leads thousands worldwide. It is Duane’s passion and creativity that started Clearmind and carried it through to its current evolution with Catherine.

Clearmind Vancouver Lecture

Catherine and Duane O’Kane will be speaking in Vancouver about Clearmind’s unique international counsellor training program, Prac For Life. As usual, free lecture tickets are available if you call ahead.

The lecture explores the notion that in every moment, in every relationship, we are either being helpful or harmful. All moments count. You have the power to alter the course of your life as well as the lives of others.

Imagine treating your life and all of your relationships with this degree of urgency, respect, and integrity. These are the qualities not only of an effective and successful counsellor, but also of an effective and successful human being. Be part of the Evolution Revolution!

At the completion of the lecture, draws will be held for $3000 in grants towards tuition for the Fall 2011 program or one of our graduate workshops. Prac students who bring a guest, and attendees who are not in Prac, will be entered into two draws for $1000 grants. Those who apply that night and pay the $150 application deposit fee will be entered into a third draw for $1000.

The 2011 Prac for Life Program starts mid-October. Cost for one year of Prac for Life is $4,490. Applications received by June 30, 2011 receive a $900 discount.
