Linda Naiman is founder of Creativity at Work, a consulting, coaching and training alliance at the forefront of transformational change, through creativity and innovation. She helps organizations accelerate business performance through arts-based training, coaching and research-based consulting.Linda began her career as a design consultant in marketing communications and the multi-disciplinary nature of her work in business, art and design, led her to explore artistic processes and their applications to leadership and transformation.
Linda is co-author of Orchestrating Collaboration at Work, first published by Wiley, and her work has been documented in several books: Artbased Approaches: A Practical Handbook to Creativity at Work (Chemi 2006), Wake Me Up When the Data Is Over (Silverman 2006), Constructive Discourse and Human Organization: Advances in Appreciative Inquiry (Cooperidder, 2004) and Artful Creation: Learning Tales of Arts-in-Business (Darsø 2004).She has also been featured in The Vancouver Sun, The Globe and Mail, Canadian Business Magazine, Profitguide.com, CBC Radio, and National Public Radio. Clients include Fortune 500 companies, consultancies, and public sector organizations.
Linda has spoken about art, design and transformational leadership at US Navy Leadership Symposiums, The MIT Club Singapore, The Banff Centre Leadership Lab, and at international business conferences. Linda is an associate business coach at UBC, and her workshops on Creativity and Leadership are part of the management certification program at Royal Roads University. Linda holds a BFA from California College of the Arts, a diploma in graphic design from Emily Carr Inst of Art and Design, and a business coaching certificate from Corporate Coach University.
