Creating Conscious Community – Zamir Dhanji

Zamir Dhanji is an inter-disciplinary artist and businessman who seeks to bind the sacred web between tradition and modernity in his work. Having created a self-titled degree in “Spiritual Economics” at New York University, his passion is integrating the spiritual and material as a way of re-invigorating culture and encouraging wholeness as a way of life. Poetry, music, spoken word and dance are the tools he uses for self-expression, with an approach that is both passionate and meditative.
He is Co-Director of Chai Gallery, a silk route concept lounge in Kitsilano, and Vancouver’s hottest world fusion venue. Their mission is to create a community of artists, healers, visionaries and organizational leaders who converge in the spirit of celebration of world culture and service to humanity.
