A captivating keynote speaker and international consultant, Karen Rae Wilson is the founder of Wisdom Culture Consulting – a leading edge company that designs unique leadership experiences and life changing Quests that inspire both personal and social change. Rémi Thivierge MSW RSW RMFT is one of the most highly trained and qualified individual, couple and family therapists and trainers in his field. He received five years intensive training after receiving his Master’s degree in clinical social work to become certified as an expert and trainer by AAMFT (the American and Canadian Association for Marriage and Family Therapy), the accrediting body in this field. 

He is the author of many articles regarding assisting with difficult issues and is the author of a book on divorce. He is currently writing a book on assisting troubled youth and another book tentatively called “Healing for Hopeless Cases”, written for and about people who have been struggling a great deal to resolve their issues, but nothing has helped thus far.

He has trained many psychologists, counselors and couple and family therapists. He has taught counseling courses at university and college and has presented locally as well as at national and international conferences. He has 30 years experience in the helping and healing field. He uses traditional Western methods of growth, such as:

• communication and assertiveness skills, along with many other couple and family therapy skills
• cognitive behaviour therapy
• setting healthy boundaries
• ensuring the safety of his clients whether as a result of substance abuse, bullying or abuse inside or outside the home
• work on forgiveness, compassion, opening our hearts more fully
• becoming more empowered in our lives

Along with these types of methods, he also uses ground breaking healing methods, which include the following, among others:

• Healing visualizations to rapidly assist to heal mind, emotions, body and relationships
• Methods of healing mental and emotional difficulties as well as trauma including the Tapas method, EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), as well as methods related to EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), and many others. These methods involving such techniques as tapping meridian points, which are based on acupuncture, work with our energy centers, and so on. These methods can also assist to heal chronic pain in many cases.
• Rapid methods of healing, including the use of the above for adult children of dysfunctional families
• How to manifest a much more enriching life
• Relationship work to assist couples to develop a healthier richer, more productive life

Rémi is compassionate, intuitive and understanding and is able to assist the vast majority of his clients.  He is able to assist clients in English or French.

Rémi lives on English Bay, in Vancouver, on the west coast of Canada, and enjoys his relationship with his wife and son, spends time at the beach, where he reads, meditates, jogs, and helps to keep the beach clean. He also loves bicycling along the sea wall, sea kayaking, as well as classical concerts and Indian food, among other things.
