Their Story

Sharing our journey of personal growth, human connection, and relationship to the earth.

100 city dwellers use a scalable Community Agriculture model,that combines farm and city living to create a sustainable future.

We are part of a community that emerged from the transformational dance scene in Vancouver. There is no formal structure; however, we are bonded by core values, such as artistic expression, co-creation, and environmental stewardship.

Our connections evolve based on a kinship tree of family and friends inviting family and friends. We have families and collective houses as cultural hubs in the city, and we create intentional gatherings to deepen our connection with self, community, and nature.

Abundance Community Farm was born out of a need for our community to have land for growing food and creating intentional gatherings.

Upcoming Events on the Farm – July 20th, 2019

Turn Up the Beets ~ Beatfarmer at Abundance ~ Weekend CampOut

/// SATURDAY NIGHT MUSIC & DANCE \\\

~ Beatfarmer ~

” Deep in the woods of a rugged little island, beatfarmer plays the music that drives him to dance. His love for dance carries him through many different styles of music and his passion is mixing organic world music sounds with beats that will move your body to dance and your spirit to soar.

He has just released two full length CDs and numerous downtempo and uptempo tracks.

Like his Dj sets, his original productions are filled with natural sounds, chanting, and organic percussion, connecting the listener with the traditions of the past, through the sounds of the future. Whether it’s a world fusion set, a deep trance journey, or sacred downtempo…. beatfarmer plays for the dancers”

About the Farm

Abundance Community Farm is located on 40-acres in Agassiz, BC, 1.5 hours east of Vancouver. Come find us

We are 5 permanent residents living on the farm, and a network of urban Community Agriculture members who farm-share one weekend a month to grow food, connect to nature and build community.

In 2016, Amir, a fuel cell research scientist, sold his home in Vancouver to purchase the farm land. He invited his friends to come and grow food, build community and co-create gatherings. Learn more.
