Masaru Emoto and his work

Masaru Emoto was born in Yokohama in July 1943. He is a graduate of the Yokohama Municipal University’s department of humanities and sciences with a focus on International Relations.  In 1986 he established the IHM Corporation in Tokyo. He received certification from the Open International University, Sri Lanka, as a Doctor of Alternative Medicine in October of 1992. He is currently the head of I.H.M. General Research Institute and President Emeritus of the International Water for Life Foundation, a Non-profit Organization.

He undertook extensive research of water around the planet not so much as a scientific researcher but more from the perspective of an original thinker and now is one of the most famous water specialists in the world.

As a therapist he used micro cluster water and MRA ( Magnetic Resonance Analyzer) in his sessions. MRA puts certain information into the water in form of HADO (which means “vibration ” in English). The successful results of his therapy convinced him that water can hold and carry information. Already for long time this hypothesis has been  believed by certain people such as homoeopaths or those who are religious, although it is not yet scientifically proved and even has been ignored or laughed at by most of the scientists.

Inspired from a snow crystal, he realized that it was in the frozen crystal form that water showed us its true nature through. In 1994, after many trials and errors, his laboratory in Tokyo succeeded in taking the first water crystal photograph. Since then a couple of ten-thousands crystal pictures have been taken. Many examinations and experiments have been done with different themes like “water quality”, “the effect of negative and positive words on water”,  “influence of music, pictures, letters, or texts”, or “power of prayer in different forms”. The results show that music, words, thoughts, or prayer influence on the structure of the water crystal; this indicates that they actually affect our physical reality. Crystal photography succeeded to make the hypothesis, that water can hold and carry information, visible for every one. Moreover the beauty of water crystals in stable and harmonious form is like a great artwork which touches many peoples heart.

With the support of his wife, Kazuko he published in 1999 at their own expense, “Messages from water”, which is a collection of the water crystal pictures and results of the water crystal investigations. “Messages from water” got to be an international million-seller and has been translated into more than twenty languages in short time.
Since then he travels with his wife all around the world to give seminars and speeches about water and HADO. Some of the highlights ware speeches at “The 3rd and the 4th International Water Forum” in Kyoto (2003) and in Mexico City (2006), at the United Nations in New York (2005), an interview with Princess Irene of the Netherlands, and the 1st International Spiritual Festival in Mexico City (2008).

He has also written “The Hidden Messages in Water”,  “The True Power of Water”,  “Love Thyself”, and “The Shape of Love” and is now an international bestseller author, whose name also appeared in the best-seller list of New York Times.

In May 2005, he announced EMOTO PROJECT at the conference called “The Spiritual Dimensions of Science and Consciousness Subcommittee on Spirituality” held at United nations Headquarters in New York City. EMOTO PROJECT is the project, as part of United Nation’s International Decade for Action; Water for Life, to provide “The Message of Water” children’s book to all the children in the world at no cost within a decade.  “The Message from Water” children’s book was published in the beginning of 2006 and in next ten years 650 million copies should be donated to children all over the world.

In March 2008, he established OFFICE MASARU EMOTO, LLC. to aim at bringing peace in the world.  It’s a Limited Liability Company that defines; Not owned by anybody and Citizen participation type of company as “a company for the people and by the people to accomplish all the goals that this company has.”
