About Converge-Con

Converge Con is a conference that originated with a desire to build sex positive communities, and start a dialogue around sexuality, relationships and activism. It is produced by the Vancouver Sex Positive Society.

At Converge-Con They aim to inspire debate and discussion around sex and culture in 2019, and we encourage you to learn, participate and network. The goal is to create a radically inclusive safe space for all people with an invested interest in creating a sex positive future. We want to amplify queer, LGBT+, Indigenous, Black and POC voices, and bring people from all walks of life together to spark new conversations.

Please note: ConvergeCon takes allegations of misconduct, especially that of a sexual nature, very seriously. We believe in the collective restoration and redemption of offenders. To the best of our knowledge, we have exercised due diligence involving our presenters and potential violations.

The Team Behind Converge-Con

Wendy is a lifelong ethical non-monogamist. She aspires to teach, share and support an open dialogue around sexuality, relationships and gender.

Kale loves geeking out about relationships and sexuality. That, along with a deep need to continually be learning new things, led her to create the website relationship-anarchy.com, to start a Facebook group, to create videos on YouTube, and organize Converge Con, the first conference of it’s kind on the west coast of Canada. She is a queer relationship anarchist, and spoke about relationship anarchy at Harvard in 2016.

Diane is a meeting planner who aspires to romance novel writing. She likes to keep an open mind because ‘open’ is how the light gets in.
