Matthew Kocel is a throat singer, sound healer, and visionary musician driven by his mission to inspire oneness through the universal language of sacred sound.
He uses the harmonic overtones of his voice to create multiple notes at the same time, weaving a tapestry of tones that seem to open a portal of peace, tranquility, and insight.

Matthew has been sharing his transformational gift with audiences in the US and Canada since 1997.

He currently lives in Vancouver BC, where between concerts he offers private healing sessions – combining energetic bodywork with holographic sound to help people attain a new level of balance in their lives.

Matthew will be a featured speaker and presenter during the day Saturday at the Liu Institute for Global Issues at UBC, for the Children of the 7 Rays speaker series with Peruvian shaman and healer Jhaimy Alvarez Acosta.

Sunday, morning April 15th Matthew will give an opening chant and song at the Park Theatre, 3440 Cambie Street in Vancouver for the debut screening of the film “High Plains Doctor: Healing on the Tibetan Plateau”, a fundraiser and talkback with film maker Michael Dayan.

Sunday, afternoon from 2:30 – 4:30 he will give an intimate sound healing journey at Yatra Yoga, 6690 East Hastings Street in Burnaby. Tickets are $20 advance $25 at the door.

Matthew will begin touring in Colorado April 18th, and returns to the Lower Mainland in mid May.
