jamie1Jamie Shaw is both a former Director, and former staff of the BC Compassion Club Society (BCCCS), where her work was comprised of various roles including communications beginning in 2012. Jamie has also served three terms on the Board of Directors for the Canadian Association of Medical Cannabis Dispensaries (CAMCD), two and a half of those as President. Her successful lobbying in Vancouver led not only to the city implementing licensing for dispensaries under prohibition, but also the creation of a second class of license based heavily on the BCCCS model and requiring membership in CAMCD.
A co-founder of the first Canadian chapter of Women Grow in Vancouver, and a writer for the cannabis resource site Canlio, Jamie is looking forward to a future where Canada is a leading player in cannabis innovation. She is also a big fan of Beta-Caryophyllene.
Jamie will be be speaking at the the upcoming Cannabis Hemp Conference in Vancouver! You can purchase tickets by visiting http://cannabishempconference.com or you can join the facebook group here cannabisconf3
