Join Tasha Simms as she speaks with author, teacher and supervising transactional analyst , Martin Wells, about his new book, “Sitting in Stillness”. Martin has being studying meditation for over 30 years

Sitting in the Stillness is a collection of stories from the therapy room. Each one invites the reader to go beyond these personal accounts to the universal, beyond the agitations of the mind to an infinite stillness of being. The stories include examples from group therapy, mindfulness groups, family and couples’ therapy and demonstrate our fundamental interconnectedness.

‘Insightful, practically useful, even enlightening. We are led along a less ‘self-centered’ path with a delightfully light touch.’ Nigel Wellings, author of Why Can’t I Meditate?

What you will discover in this book…

How might sitting in the Stillness help us with our stressful busy lives?

Why is there such a growing interest in mindfulness?

Why does there seem to be an increase in mental health problems, especially in young people?

How would you define happiness?

How do we find freedom from our story? Should we get a new story?

What is the best way to manage crisis and breakdown?

What is non-duality?
